So, here we are it's St. Valentines day... I thought I would wish you all a Happy St. Valentine's day by giving you a list of things you should be seeing on your blogs at this point...
Today is a portfolio day; so you will be free to get creative with your photography. A portfolio day is the one day a week, that I let you shoot on a theme of your choice. Take lot's of photos (of the same theme - examples: shoes, low angle, white, keys, phones, talking, emotions, etc.), remember to save them onto the computers. Choose your best and create a gallery for that theme under the portfolio tab. The template that you should use, is the same as your other blog entries that we've created to date. Just a heads up, make sure you read the entire assignment there is a clue as to what your culminating activity might be.
I know it might seem silly to have a portfolio session so early into the course, but my hope is that it will help you generate content, and we can have a starting point from which to improve!
Portfolio photos must be taken today; and should be uploaded today as well. So that means we need to use the time effectively, to photograph, save, upload and polish off your entry for today!
Happy Shooting!
- Getting to know your camera terms
- ISO Aperture and Exposure sheet from yesterday
- Photos showing line
- photos showing rule of thirds
- photos showing how ISO affects exposure
- photos for a 'photographic alphabet'... this might not be done yet...
